Family SchoolPartnership Act
An employer of 25 or more employees at the same location must allow an employee who is the parent or guardian of a child in Kindergarten or Grades 1 through 12 up to 40 hours off per school year for the purpose of participating in school activities. Employees may be limited to no more than eight hours in any calendar month and may be required to use accrued vacation, personal leave, or compensatory time.
